OOC: character building links
Jan. 31st, 2012 12:52 pmFor those looking to get to know Geddoe better, here are some links to some meme/fic posts I did in the past that rounded out his character and headcanon for me. Please note that a number of the people he talks about, some of the settings for the fic, and some of his answers in the meme relate to the population of the first game he was in, a fandom-specific game set in his timeline. As such, those don't apply to his present game or memes. Yet, the background and philosophies are what I use for his headcanon.

So. Aila's decided to settle down in Karaya. I figured as much.
Pretty soon I'll have just Sigurd and Queen around me. And there's no telling when Sigurd will get sent to his right time.
A man with eternal life experiences no stability. Though his life goes on and on, endless, seemingly never changing, everything around him is in constant chaos. Nothing remains the same. Friends die, or leave, allies desert, enemies rise and fall and rise again.
Perhaps it was premature of me to cling to Budehuc as a long-term home. It, like everything else, changes. It won't remain a safe home for long. Eventually I will have to roam again.
Just a little longer. Let me have just a little more before I have to continue on the wheel of time.

It's been a while, hasn't it? I thought I should send word to let you know that we're still alive. I figured someone might be wondering, by now.
Sigurd and I picked up a job while at the Great Hollow and took off, and we've been traveling further and further from Budehuc since. I can't say exactly when we'll be back, but I know winter's coming and I'd like to be snug at home by then. We're making our way back up through Tinto, so we're not far. Sigurd's birthday is tomorrow and we're making for the capital city where we can get a huge meal and a warm bed.
Roaming so far and wide has been good for us. We've made a lot of potch and had some adventures. Went as far south as the Dragon Knights' Cave, so I could say hello to Futch and pay my respects to Captain Milia. I hope this letter finds you well and things quiet around the castle.
Look for us before the snow flies.
